Who we are

Led by our principal investigator, Ikuma Adachi, we conduct a wide variety of comparative studies, mostly focusing on non-human primates to better understand the evolution of memory and cognition in humans and non-humans. This work also helps define the relationship between human and nonhuman animal's cognition, and contributes basic knowledge needed to propose some solutions to problems currently we human face.
